Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

We love snow! We went to Flagstaff for Christmas and found snow. We all had fun playing in the snow together.

Jeffery built a big snow fort in the back driveway at Grandpa and Grandma Clouses. The boys weren't sure whether they sould climb up it, slide down it, or hide inside it. So they did all three.

Ready, Set, Go!

We found a nice little hill in the woods by Grandpa's house. It was just big enough for the boys to sled on, without Mom getting tired climbing up the hill again and again.

One evening before bed it really started to snow. The next morning, I woke up with Riley standing beside the bed. "I gotta go shovel for Grandma! Let's go!" The boys didn't mind if they had to shovel or play, they were just excited to be in snow.

I was actually excited to have to brush off our truck. I really miss the snow in Tucson.

Riley-man is now a snow-man! That's my boy.
Riley went outside with Aunt Jacque Christmas morning and built a Snowman Trooper.

We had a wonderful White Christmas!

My House of Boys

There was no way at all, that they were all going to
cooperate for pictures!

To get into practice with posting, I thought I would start with my four favorite subjects. My boys. I have wonderful men in my life. My oldest is my husband Jeffery. He is still such a little boy at heart which makes him such an excellent father of boys. We have been married for almost 8 years. I often tell Jeffery that when I married him, I married my "everyman." I married my carpenter, my plumber, my mechanic, my electrician, my best friend and the love of my life. He is a mechanical engineer working at Raytheon here in Tucson.

( I'm going to use a bunch of pictures from the past couple of months. Jeff's 29th birthday. Silly, Silly Boys! )

RILEY - AGE 6: Next is my Riley-man. Riley is our oldest and is a great big brother and a huge help to Mom and Dad. Riley is our cautious one. He likes to know the outcome before he does anything. (A lot like his mother!) He is in the first grade and is doing excellent. Even though he is one of the youngest in his class he is also the tallest! I know...surprise, surprise. He is an awesome reader and speller. He is growing up into a man way to fast.

JOSEPH - AGE 4: Oh, our Joseph! We lovingly refer to him as our ham. He is very social and outgoing. Joseph has one volume...loud. He is also very sweet and sincere. Jeffery and I never know what is going to come out of his mouth. He speaks what is on his mind and is a natural smart-alec. He is in his second year of pre-school and is excited about Kindergarten in the fall.

These pictures capture Joseph's personality perfectly.

BOYD- AGE 3: Our littlest man is Boyd. All I need to say is Jeffery Junior. He looks just like Jeffery did as a child and acts just the same too. He already has his Dad's facial expressions down. Even though Boyd is the most stubborn of the bunch, he often is the example to his brothers. Boyd is in pre-school with Joseph and believes that he knows-it-all.

My house full of boys is in no means a quiet house, but it is full of good times, good memories and lots of love.

A New Year!

I am actually going to attempt to do my blog! My dear sister-in-law set an account up for me way back in July. So sorry Kara...it's taken me so long. But it's a new year and my goal is to try to do this blog so we can keep in touch better.
