Start Spreading the News....

"Start spreading the news, we're leaving today.  We want to be apart of it, first grade, First grade!  We've worked very hard, our teachers are proud.  We've learned our alphabet and our numbers too.  So open up the doors to first grade, first grade!"

Ah, the end of school and all the activities that go along with it.  Joseph had a kindergarten program at school, and Mom of course couldn't help but cry.  My little boy is all grown up once again, and is going to be apart of first grade!
We absolutely love Mrs. Feerick his teacher.  She was also Riley's 1st grade teacher last year and will be Boyd's kinder teacher next year.

Congrats Joseph for a wonderful year in Kindergarten!  He's learned so much and is so intelligent!  I love that you're all ready for the wonderful world of 1st grade!

My sweet Riley...

For the past 10 months or so, Riley has been saving/earning money to buy a Nintendo DS.  He has saved birthday and tooth fairy money, washed windows, vacuumed/cleaned the van, pulled weeds, swept the sidewalks, etc. He has been so patient and finally earned enough! He couldn't wait to start to play it...
After a few minutes, I look in at him and he's holding McCoy and playing at the same time.  Riley loves to hold McCoy and wanted to play with him too.  How sweet is that?

McCoy's Baby Blessing

Sunday May 2nd, 2010 Jeffery had the wonderful opportunity to give McCoy his baby's blessing in the Cedar Hill ward in Flagstaff.    We woke up that morning to snow and I knew that it was going to be a good day and it was!

McCoy Thomas Anderson
We love our sons and feel so blessed to have them in our home and hearts!
My heart just melts when I see these men all together.
I am so grateful to have Jeffery as my husband and to be able to have the priesthood in our home and family.  I am thankful to our Heavenly Father for restoring that power here on earth to bless our lives with.  I am so blessed to have a worthy man as my husband to be able to hold the priesthood and to be able to use it to bless our children.

I love my sons!  I love my dear husband!  I know that I am very blessed to have the family I have.  I am thankful for my Father in Heaven for sending these sweet boys to me.

In the blessing circle: Jeffery, Grandpa Clouse, Grandpa Anderson, Uncle Josh, Uncle John Summerville, Uncle James, and Bishop Voight.

Jacque's Totally Rad Bridal Shower!

While in Flagstaff, the Clouse sisters threw Jacque a bridal Shower.  "We've been waitin' since the 80's" to have Jacque get married, so we celebrated 80's style.
We had lots of fun planning the party and of course dressing up too.  We love you Jacque and are so totally stoked that you're getting married!

By the end of the day though, I was exhausted...

Busy Busy...Flagstaff Trip

We have been busy busy busy.  The end of April Jeffery left to Florida for almost 2weeks.   We invited Grandma Kay back down to Tucson to help me out with the 4boys.
We really appreciated Grandma coming to visit us and for helping so much. We had lots of fun with her.  After a week with Grandma at our house, we packed up the car and went to her house in Flagstaff for a busy week.  We had Jacque's bridal shower and McCoys baby blessing. It was McCoys first trip and he did so good!  He's nothing like Riley was, who screamed and cried anytime he was in the car.  McCoy was wonderful and slept almost the whole ride.
In Flagstaff, McCoy met his Great Grandma Eager (Kay's mother)
spent time with cousins,
and hung out with his brothers while we all waited for Dad to join us...
We were all happy to have Daddy back with us!

The Prophet Said to Plant a Garden...

and thats what we'll do....

Jeffery and the boys have started this years garden.  They've planted tomatoes, bell peppers, carrots, watermelon, and onions.  Also our plum tree is loaded with fruit and the nectarine tree even has some too!
