Riley's 9!

On August 28, our Riley-man turned 9!
Our Riley....
He's our little man, that is growing up way too fast.
He's our quiet one and  also our sensitive one.
He's an excellent big brother, and a HUGE help!
He's a our little thinker, and also our biggest tease.
He's becoming a little gentleman.
He's such a blessing.
My life changed forever the day he was born.
It's amazing how over just 9 years, how many times
I have seen into eternity because I have looked at Riley.
We are so blessed to call him our son.

Please time... slow down.
I'm not ready for my little boy to grow  all the way up.

Boyd DID turn 6!

Boyd really DID turn 6 on July 29th!

Our Boyd....Bobo....Boyd-O!
He is such a little man, a little Jeffery.
He Loves Dad and tries so hard to be like him.
He is a sweetie!  He is tenderhearted and yet a little sneaky too.
He's our little cleaner, and more like his
Mother than we want to admit.
He has made our family so very special and we're so
happy he's ours forever!

2011 Anderson Family Reunion Campout

We love camping!  We were so so happy to go up camping this year!  We went to the Anderson's traditional camping spot.     We had a wonderful time and made lots of great memories!
McCoy's first camping trip!  He LOVED it!
The Anderson Boys!

Driving to the rim!
Food and Puzzles, two main parts of camping!
A favorite part of every camping trip, sitting around
the camp fire in the evening.
Marshmallows, hot chocolate, funny stories, scary stories....
the best time of the day!
We took a day trip and went to Fossil Creek in Strawberry...It also just happened to be Boyd's 6th Birthday.  We were so excited that Josh, Sara, and even more cousins decided to meet us there from Flagstaff.
After a day at the creek, we went back to camp to celebrate Boyd's birthday with a sad pinata. I'm afraid we let our Mexico cousins down.
And of course when we're camping,
we try our best to keep the boys clean....
Needless to say that we love camping,
especially when there's so many cousins!

We can't wait until time...this is a typical family picture!

This Summer...Part 2...Misc.

This Summer...I fell more in love with my guys!

This Summer...Part 1

This summer has been a long hot one.  Yet, somehow time flies by with 4little men needing attention.  So they got it and the family blog got no attention.  So now I get to play catch up.

This summer we went to Flagstaff, a couple of times.  We headed north for Memorial Day weekend, and my Mom and I took some of the Clouse Cousins to Walnut Canyon National Park on a hike.
At the top of the Canyon with Grandma
Jacob and Joseph
What Mom and I thought would be just over an hour hike, we did in about 30 minutes.  These kids set the pace and kept us moving.  I slowed down enough to grab a few pictures of the dwellings...

We then went back to Flag a couple weeks later.  Jeffery had to go to Florida for a week long business trip, and there was no way I was going to stay at home.  So to Grandma's house we went for almost 2weeks!  It was wonderful!
This summer we got to celebrate Father's Day with my Dad!

and had fun playing outside in Grandma and Grandpa's yard...
even if the boys had to do a little bit of yard work!

This summer we hiked on Mt.Elden.  We attempted to hike to the grave site on the base of the mountain from Grandma's house.  The boys ended up taking the lead and not following Grandma.   We ended up wandering the mountain for a couple of hours.   We never made it to the grave that day, but we did make a lot of good memories!

A few days later we hiked a different way to the grave.

This summer while still in Flagstaff, we got to go swimming with cousins...

and played at Grandpa and Grandma Anderson's house too!

This summer, we watched Grandpa play softball. I can't remember the last time I saw my dad play ball!

Grandpa's cheering section!

This Summer, the boys tried everything to cool down, including sitting in a tub of water.
and having water gun fights with Dad...

This Summer was a little bit exhausting, and this is only Part 1!!
