EASTER!

This year Easter was so very sweet and quiet.  We ended up staying home in Tucson due to a stomach bug and didn'tgo to Flagstaff.  But it was still such a special day!

This year a week before Easter Sunday, Jeffery and I talked to the boys every night before bed about our Savior Jesus Christ.  We talked about the events in Christ's life that happened during the week before He was crucified and Resurrected.  It brought such a sweet spirit into our home as Jeffery and I were able to bear our testimony about Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, to our young sons.  The boys were so attentive and were looked forward to it every night.  Even after Easter was done, Joseph still wanted to talk about what Jesus did next.

We also had class parties...

And we also did Easter Eggs...we like to blow the yolk out before we dye them!

And of course the Easter bunny came filling the baskets with waaay too much candy!

and we tried to get some Easter pictures before Church...

My heart melts as I look at my handsome Men!

We love our Mexico Cousins!

Kara brought her kiddos up from Mexico for a visit.  My boys were so excited to see their "Mexico Cousins!"

They wanted to go and see the planes at the Air and Space Museum.
We were there right before they closed, and they needed some extra help folding the flag.  It's a good thing we just happened to have Boy Scout with us...good job Riley-man!

Whenever I see Anson,  I  get a preview of Boyd in a couple of years.  They may be cousins, but they look and bonded like brothers!

And look...ITS A GIRL!
Austin was very excited to show us his big guns!
We love our Mexico Cousins! Come back and stay with us again soon!

Fun times with School!

This Spring has been very busy as the school year comes to a close and this post covers a couple of months!
We started the busy season off with  Joseph's  Leprechaun Trap.

The design: The leprechaun walks up the green steps and sees gold in the bottom of the box.  The Leprechaun jumps into the box to grab the gold and instead gets stuck on the sticky mouse trap!  HAHA...and Joseph's got a leprechaun!

Next came a Kindergarten field trip to the zoo!

I love his face.. Yes Boyd, you are actually touching that snake!

The following week came  Joseph's first grade field trip to the Tucson Botanical Gardens to see the Butterfly Exhibit.

These two boys are trouble when they are together, but lots of fun!

The most beautiful butterfly of all..and I got to take it home!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY McCoy!!!

I know this post is a little late, but such is life with 4boys.  Anyways, better late than never...HAPPY HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY McCOY!!!

Its amazing that only one short year ago, on March 22, I was holding this sweet little 6lb. baby boy in my arms...

and now 12months later I get to hold this 20lbs. little monster!
McCoy has already added so much to the family. He's a little bit of a ham, a little bit of a tease, a little bit of a lover, a little bit of a stinker, a little bit of a sweetie, a little bit of a Daddy's boy, a little bit of a Momma's boy, and a whole lot of fun!

We have loved the 1st year with McCoy!

We love you McCoy!
