Baptism Day
Little child dressed in white
He takes your hand, you hold on tight.
He, with his arms to the square
Commissioned of Jesus Christ, invokes the prayer.
You leave the water born anew
and pledge you'll try, his works to do.
Heavenly father is happy today Because you
have followed His Son's chosen way.

Riley has turned the important age of 8! The age of accountability; the age when you know right from wrong, and how to obey the commandments. Riley has turned 8 and has followed our Savior's example and on September 2nd was baptized.
We love you Riley and are so proud of you! Such a very special and wonderful day!
My heart is still so full of happiness and love. I am so thankful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and to be able to share it with our sons. I am so thankful and proud of my Riley for choosing the right. I am so thankful for a wonderful husband to be worthy to hold the priesthood and perform the ordinances of the gospel.
I love the pics where Jeff is having to scrunch down with you guys. :) Wish we could have been there. Tell Riley good job. Love you guys.
ReplyDeleteThey sure do grow up fast and we often wish they wouldn't. However, I have noticed that it is at times when they make good choices like getting baptized (and they understand the consequences) there is such a joy to be felt! I am glad the day was special :)
